The Saturn was delicious, bartenders were friendly, and the atmosphere was awesome. Drink was a bit pricey though so be aware.
Needless to say, we will not be going back and I would suggest caution if you're considering.
Atmosphere and drinks were good. Our experience, not so much. We were greeted and seated quickly but our server never showed up to our table. After 25 minutes waiting to order we flagged down another server who took our order quickly. After finishing our first round of drinks, it was another 15-20 minutes before anyone stopped again. Needless to say we just had one round and left.
Unique and fun atmosphere, a Tiki Bar, Laka Lono Rum Club's attention to detail is very impressive. Only thing like it in the city.
I went to this place twice a week for 3 weeks in a row. The place has a really great atmosphere, purposefully tacky but so well done it makes you like it. The staff and environment is really fun- tribal music, lights and smoke machines, "rituals" for certain drinks. The drinks themselves...so strong. My favorites were the Head Games and Who Do, You Do.. also their zombie will knock you on your keester and the smoked rum old-fashioned is really good. Would go back every weekend.
My wife and another couple went there after a great night at the Omaha Symphony. We were told 5 - 10 min., 40 min later were seated at a communal table. We waited 20 min. to be served by anyone. Nothing. So I stop a waitress who was whizzing passed, by touching her on the arm. She looked at me at and said "Don't touch me!". I said, "We just need some service". She said "That's sexual assualt", and ran to the manager and had us kicked out. Seriously? At what point do we stop diminishing real issues with "I'm having a bad day" issues. Additionally, the manager, Bradley Moore, was dismissive and smug.
