Nice park but I was surprised to learn there is no public bathroom thankfully the golf course right next to it had one my son could use otherwise our picnic at the park would have been cancelled. Otherwise it is really a great park.
If you like gunshot wounds and slums, you'll enjoy this park and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Nick named: "Killer Park", This place looks like it might be peaceful, tranquil, and generally a nice place to do some yoga or take a nice jog on the trails / pathways DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS... but it has a copious history filled with robbery and murder; and I mean A LOT of murder. Including, but not limited to, the recent luring of males off of dating sites in a successful effort to orchestrate strong armed robbery. Florence may have a rich history with beautiful architecture that is more than 100 years old, but Miller Park definitely is not my first or even second choice of parks to take my children to.
Lots of murders and shootings happen around this park and in the surrounding neighborhoods of Minne Lusa and Miller Park. (Do a search for dataomaha homicides and omaha crime report site.) Multiple boarded up houses in the surrounding neighborhood.
It was quite lovely I could use some help with more trash containers and possibly a community watch to help with the vandalism
