Maxim is a great company to rent from. They’ve always worked with me when needed! And the maintenance crew is awesome!
If I could give this place no stars I would. They take forever to call people back if they actually call back and they won't replace my grandmother's carpet and padding which is long over due. They have been told many times that it's a health risk but still will not replace it. A carpets life span is only about 10 years and she's had it for more than that. You would think they acted about the health of their renters but I assume not considering they won't replace it
Also use of employees attempting to boost star count by putting a positive review (as shown in the picture) shouldn't be allowed, or at the very least it's not the best practice. A company's reputation should speak for itself through customers.
Update: Maxim responded back that maxim and guardian are not associated. That's completely not true as Guardian switched it's name to Maxim. Same managers, same employees.
Stay away, not sure what maintenance crew was talked about, they must have been confused. Been renting the house i'm in now for 6 Months, and still have not gotten my front porch light fixed. The wires along with the inner wall are exposed to the weather. Had to call and set-up a appointment for the fire Marshall to come inspect it along with some other things in the house.
Could go on a long list of stuff from my experience with Guardian Realty (now Maxim), as well as others, but no need. The rantings and the ratings of others giving a review is sufficient enough warning.
I had been looking for a house to rent and thought I had found my dream home. I applied and was approved on the contion to provide A deposit and two months rent, which I did. Many days later I come to find out that the owner of the home no longer wanting to rent out the house. Considering I have already signed away my apartment I’m now in a situation of not knowing where I’m going to live. Not only that but when I applied I paid the application fee and was not even refunded. There are plenty of Realty groups in Omaha and I highly recommend using someone else. Maximum is unprofessional and unorganized. The agent I had been working with was poor with her communication and unprofessional herself. When I went to pick up my money she was wearing a blanket not at all concerned about the predicament that this company has put me in. Take your business elsewhere!
