Interesting work but a peculiar experience. My now 13 year old son and I travelled through Omaha and Des Moines taking in as much art as possible. We generally take a photo and post it on our Instagram in the hope of sharing the gallery/artist with a wider audience. Someone from this space came running in to tell us "You can't be taking pictures in here!" OK then. Taking a picture of a Jackson Pollock at Joslyn Art Museum is fine. Edward Hopper at Des Moines Art Center: also fine. Taking pictures of anything at Artists' Cooperative Fine Art Gallery: not OK. Because reasons.
Really cool gallery that focuses on local art. They have a club that sounds pretty interesting also.
