The best in Mexican “Pan Dulce” (sweet bread). Brings back many fond memories of my childhood. Prices are very cheap compared to donuts (which I also like).
It is self serve. You will even see racks of sweet bread in the main area for your choosing, straight out of the baking area. They take cash or charge. They are quick to get you back out the door, so if you're in South Omaha, a few well spent minutes will make a huge differnce to your morning at the office or ending your evening routine...with coffee. If you haven't had Mexican sweet bread, International Bakery is an ambassador to one of the best examples of it's culture. Buen provecho!
With $5 you have an amazing selection of sweet breads to share with your family, friends, and co-workers. International Bakery has plenty of local cliental and is growing on the non-latino consumer as well. My co-workers notice right away how it's not a flavorless muffin nor bagel, yet not overtly sweet like a donut or pastry we (USA American) know.
Love the selection and prices. I have been told it's pretty authentic, so I give it 4 stars. I can't say that I can accurately judge the authenticity.
Great panadaria, reminds me of South Texas. Take your pick, everything is delicious!
Food was great! Cash only sucks though but the beef sandwich w/mashed potatoes & gravy was awesome!
