According to news reports, this ER will not treat gunshot wounds, whereas the now closed Creighton University Med Center on 30th st did. This is a huge mistake, as the treatment of gunshot wounds is what is needed most in Northeast Omaha. Having an ER in Northeast Omaha that doesn't treat gunshot wounds is like having a car without an engine. Pretty useless.
