Elegant Marriott located in the heart of Omaha. Rooms are spacious, decorated beautifully. There is a bar on the main floor, great cocktails and comfortable seating. Morning breakfast is scrumptious!
I recently attended a work event at the Marriott, and it was a rather excellent experience. The building was well laid out and decorated, with the event space well-allocated, clean, and comfortable. Rooms were clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and had a great view from some nice, trendy seating. Staff was cordial, pleasant, professional, and happy to help and answer questions. All-in-all, a good experience!
We visited this downtown Marriott for a company holiday party. The ballroom area is great and the staff friendly. We stayed the night and the room was clean and spacious. However we weren't able to get the shower water sufficiently hot and internet access in the rooms is not included in the room rate and neither is breakfast. Both my wife and I thought the bed very firm and woke quite sore. Parking is available in a ramp with a walkway to the hotel, but like all downtown venues, isn't free.
Really nice place. Food was just ok, nothing special. Parking lot card reader had an issue reading my validation sticker. Luckily the service line was able to open the gate since there were quite a few cars starting to back up behind me. Overall, it was still a pretty good experience. I'm sure my company will continue to choose this site for years to come.
Stayed there when I drove into town for a good friend's wedding. It was my first time in Omaha. The location was just about perfect. The facility was dated, but not necessarily in a bad way; more like historic. It was more than nice enough. And it was walking distance from any of the night life and restaurants one would likely seek. I would gladly stay there again.
