I understand being delayed to get into the theatre because the prior party was a group event. They compensated us with a free movie pass because of this. However, this was my first time going to this theatre. Here is my first impression.
We went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi in 3d. We did not get 3d even though the staff had asked us if we were supposed to be viewing it in 3d before it started (I feel like they should have known this). This did not bother me that much as I was still getting to watch the movie.
All in all a terrible first experience and quite possibly the last time I visit this theatre. The only reason for the two stars was because we had ordered drinks before the show that were star wars themed. It was made well by the bartender.
About 1/3 of the way into the movie the image on the screen distorts to some odd color, mainly a bright green. A couple people left at this point. I figured it would be fixed and in time it was.
Nice theatre. Nice area. (downtown@ Midtown Crossing). You can order real meals(dinner) & eat while watching movie in theatre. Good food. Tickets are decent price. Some seats are like comfy computer chairs at a desk like table, others are "traditional" movie theatre seats. Overall good experience.
My wife and I had a terrible experience at this theater. We were told that they weren't serving any food because their truck didn't come in. That tells me they have questionable management.
We stuck around for cold popcorn and flat beer while we sat in broken office chairs. The theater temperature was maybe 60*. We both watched with our coats and gloves on.
The chairs, or seating, unlike other theatres was cramped and we sat in high end computer chairs the whole movie. Comfort wasn't an issue but trying to adjust your seat was a pain as you would disrupt your neighbor.
I used to like this theater. Tonight the service was terrible. We were there 30 minutes early, which is recommended so you can order food, but the theater wasn't ready yet. Once it was it still wasn't in good order as there were popcorn pieces left on the table. It took several minutes before a server came by for our order. Half hour later we got one meal, but not the other, and no drinks. Sec meal arrived, but drinks took another several more minutes. Then they kept trying to bring food and drinks that we didn't order. It was like they didn't know what order went where. The call buttons didn't work so we couldn't request drink refills, and our server didn't come back until it was time to drop off the check.
We eventually left after 30 minutes or so because neither of us were comfortable.
Update; Every time we go they mess something up. Usually they more than fix it. This time they started the movie early, apparently they can't stop it once started. That's what they told us anyway. So we missed the first 10 minutes of Blade runner 2049. After several pointed questions about why it started early, and stating l felt cheated. A manager finally offered a were sorry paper. I had to drag it out what good is that, he said a free movie.
Our server didn't seem to be excited to be working.
We ordered food at the start of the film. We got it in a timely manner but my order was wrong. I scraped the onions off my burger that I had asked not to be put on. The food was mediocre.
Oh yes and my son ordered one thing and got another, they brought him the wrong drink again. Really the mistakes are getting old.

3 hour long movie and not once was there someone to come over to our attempts at pushing the button for service (even the attempts made on other tables buttons as we thought ours might not be working). Never had a refill on our drinks or the chance to order popcorn.
Later after l came out of the restroom, which has the same 2 broken urinals for months now. I saw the manager running to hide from a couple yelling at him probably the same issue.
There are many other theaters in Omaha so I highly doubt either of us will ever be back. I was really hoping this wouldn't happen since this location is close to downtown and would be perfect for date nights after work on our way home.
The staff is always friendly(not the youngest manager). The food is always good. It's a nice place to take a date(it was). Something unusual yet not strange(okay it's getting strange).
