Although there are several parking garages in downtown Omaha, some of which are even cheaper, you are paying for quality customer service with Central Parking. I feel let down today by how Lynn acted on behalf of Central Parking, and I will be looking into finding a different parking space.
It is as good of a city owned parking garage as any. Not bad. Near the U.S. Edward Zorinsky Federal Building and Double Tree Hotel. Across from the old Civic Auditorium that is being torn done for new development.
I had the "opportunity" to speak with Lynn (x15) at Central Parking Omaha regarding a parking space on Harney Street. My name has been on the wait list for a spot for over 3 months. I asked her politely where I stood on the list. She proceeded to sigh at me like the task I asked of her was difficult. She told me I was "halfway on the list". Thanks...Halfway of what? "Like 20-25". I had to ask her three times to tell me the exact spot I was in line for a space. Not only was she extremely rude, but she told me I was being mean for asking her where I stood in line. Fortunately, I was able to speak to a supervisor, Brian, at the Central Parking HQ who was very patient and listened to my complaints about Lynn and said he would make sure he spoke with her or her supervisors.
Easy to get in. Difficult to get out.
