When I told her that I was frustrated at the way I was being treated she simply said that was fine and that they would be glad to cancel my future service. Then, she had the audacity to tell me that I needed to give her that request in writing. Wow. They weren’t even giving me a service and yet she said that I needed to give her a request in writing just to tell her that I want them to stop looking on their invisible calendars to schedule that future service. What would have happened if I wouldn’t have given it to her in writing? Would they still be looking months from now?
What exactly does that mean? If you get on your business calendar and look at this year, and then next year, and then the next, you should eventually come to a time slot that isn’t taken by a customer. And if every time slot is taken from now through the end of time then he should have been to tell me that as well. The point is that looking at a schedule should take seconds or minutes – not weeks or months.
I finally called one month later and spoke to the man who originally gave me my estimate. I asked him why they won’t schedule me and he said the same thing all over again. He said they need to find an open time slot on their calendars and said that when he finds out when that is he will call me. I told him that is doesn’t matter how far out they are – just look for the next available time slot and tell me what it is. He said he was trying to do that but didn’t know when that would be.
I highly recommend not using this company.
After the June 29th, 2017 hail storm, Home Pride and Nick Anderson were first on the scene to offer assistance with identifying damage, filing the insurance claim, etc. Once the claim was submitted, they quickly repaired my roof and damaged siding. The crew did a great job overall! Throughout the process, Kat Palmer provided great customer service by answering multiple questions related to the insurance estimate and final bill. He said he would continue looking and eventually get back to me when he finds an available slot. Well, he never called back again.
This isn’t rocket science - it’s scheduling. Every business should have a calendar for their scheduling that tracks appointments. It shouldn’t take more than 30 second to open it up and tell a customer when the next available opening is. After one month of trying, they continued to tell me that they were still looking.
I worked with Duane after the recent hail storm. Everyone and their mother in my neighborhood is replacing their roof. Ours was replaced recently and really had minimal damage. Duane was very friendly and helpful explaining the damage he saw was very minimal. He also offered to discuss the damage with any of his competitors if they disagreed with his assessment. He saved me from an insurance claim and someone who is just out for money. I appreciate his honesty and I will use home pride in the future.
I also wrote a letter to this company and voiced my complaints. I requested that it go through senior management so that they can get an idea of what of their operational personnel are doing wrong. Nobody ever called me back or tried to make things right.
Apparently this company doesn’t seem to use calendars and they don’t seem very apologetic or concerned when customers voice these frustrations. It took me until September just to find a company that had the time to get to my house to give me an estimate and it is now almost November.
We contracted Home Pride to replace all of our siding, gutters, and fascia on our home. Our home was very dated (timber beams, starbursts under the window). Home Pride completely transformed our home. The siding is beautiful. With such a big project, it was important to my husband and I to work with a great company. Home Pride delivered on everything. They explained everything to us so we knew exactly what we needed. They also made a few design recommendations that worked out awesome. I would definitely recommend Home Pride for any of your siding needs!
They never called back and said that they are still looking for an open time slot. I understand that the roofing companies have been busy here in Omaha since the June thunderstorm. However, regardless how backed up they are, they should be able to look at their calendars and see when the next available slot is open. It doesn’t matter if it is 10 days or 10 months from now, they just need to look for the next available opening on their computers and tell when that is. Simple.
I eventually called and spoke to a receptionist and told her that they can stop “looking” because I am not going to use their services now. They hadn’t scheduled me yet and just continued to tell me that they were still looking. She didn’t even try to save my business.
I contacted Home Pride in early September of 2017 and they gave me an estimate on my roof. He was polite and courteous and said that he would go back to the office to find when they could get me on their calendar to get repairs made.
When I walked into the office, they made me feel like I was part of their team. Christina was very friendly and helpful. She was able to answer all my questions.
I finally found another company who is absolutely fantastic but they are not able to get to my roof until spring now. Because of all the waiting I had to do with this company it threw me behind in getting my roof fixed. Now I have to go through winter with 2 holes in my roof because of this.
