I have not been at this location in over 8 years now. One of my friend's and I went and we were able to sit and talking with each other for a while and catch up on so much. The service was great and we just enjoyed ourselves
Lexi is exceptional, customer service exceptional food delicious
UPDATE: Village Inn Corporate was very responsive to our concerns and sent the regional manager out right away to address the concerns.
If I could rate my experience lower I would. First the good stuff. The coffee was hot and fresh. Served by an awesome server. The eggs were cooked properly. I am not Sue why the crepes were served ice cold. Wasn't even warm enough to start melting the whipped cream. Both the strawberry and orange crepes same cold nasty texture. I they were fresh I am a micheline star chef. Don't bother ordering breakfast potatoes they aren't even edible. They have some off putting taste which Mike the manager didn't think was freezer burned. Maybe it is just sub par products. When a customer asks for crisp, extra crisp bacon and some anemic piece of meat is dropped on the plate, one questions the caliber of their cooking staff. But when the bacon is returned to the kitchen and the same bacon comes back the same way, one knows there is a problem. Long story long over half of the food which was ordered was returned cold and inedible. Mike acted like this was status quo and there was a problem with us for not tolerating cold, poor quality, food. Fool me once Mike but not twice.
Always great food, cooked perfect as ordered, portions are large and staff is courteous and on the ball. That hometown diner feel. Great place! Highly recommended!
A couple of days ago I stopped at the Village Inn Restaurant at N. 90th St. In Omaha Nebraska.. It had been a few weeks since I had been in that location. I was warmly welcomed back.. The staff who greeted me mentioned that it was good to see me. The French toast was yummy as usual and I used the cooked apples instead of syrup on the Fr. toast. The bacon and egg white omelette were cooked perfectly but the turkey sausage looked to be deep fried and very dry and overcooked. Still, all in all the meal was mostly delicious and it was great to see the friendly staff again. I also was happy to see some of the regulars there among the lively crowd.
