The service was quick and friendly, menu was somewhat small but they offer a variety of sandwiches and breakfast along with traditional Italian fare. Food came quick and served hot. Delicious as well. 9/10 do recommend and will be returning.
Very good. Had ricotta berry pancakes. Berries were fresh. Service was great. Overall good experience.
I had to check out this place after seeing it on an episode if diners, drive-ins and dives. Walked in with a small group of people hungry for some breakfast. We were all flooded with the overwhelming smell of burnt toast. We got seater immediately in a interesting, lumpy booth. All ordered coffee which came in 3 garage sale looking coffee cups. Made me chuckle. I ordered the 'wafflenader'. Which turned out to be pretty good I. A waffle topped with salami, cheese, bacon and choice of eggs. Which I got scrambled. It was more than enough food. But for a hefty $9.50 I expected as much. Would try again.
In desperate need of some repairs. Food was bland and small portions for the price.
This was a huge disappointment. Saw this place on Diners, Drive-inns & Dives" and wanted to give it a try. Italian is one of my favorites and hearing that they made hand stuffed Italian sausage on site and Guy raving about the flavors it was a must visit. The place is quite run down and in need of general upkeep but the staff was welcoming. Came on a Sunday after church at 1pm to be told they only service breakfast on Sundays. Not a big issue but a little bit of a let down. After seated it took our waitress 10 minutes to get back to us as she was to busy chatting with the other servers sitting around a table as there were only a few other people eating. Ordered their "garbage breakfast" (basically their version of a potato casserole) with a side of the Italian sausage i was so looking forward to. After waiting 17 minutes to get our food the first thing I see is a large thick black hair in my food as soon as she puts the plate down. She seemed surprised when I stopped her and asked her to take it back, with only a pathetic "sorry." Waiting for it to be remade tried the sausage that was very bland and quite dry. 10 minutes later I final got my remade food with a resentful look from the waitress as it was dropped on the table. With a little bit of surprise after the experience so far it was actually quite tasty and full of flavor. If I was to rate them on just that item i would give them 3.5 stars for the food. I then had to ask anther waitress for the bill as our waitress was sitting down chatting again. We received no apology for the food issue or the poor service nor even a attempt to see if we had a good experience. Paid the bill and left. I would hope this isn't an experience anyone else would share but I doubt doubt I will ever venture back here again.
