This place is diner nostalgia. The dishes don't match, you're drinking your coffee out of an old Menards mug and the signage is from all over. There is a constant din hovering over head but it just adds to the ambience. The food is good, the portions are large and the prices are great. If you're looking for a classic diner with wonderful comfort food, you've found the place. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick.
Service was great and the place has a very unique and fun vibe to it. The food that is handmade is fantastic - loved their burgers. They have some odd quirks though that are less impressive however. The guacamole on my burger was just the tube-squeezed stuff from the store, so it was rather underwhelming. Overall a pretty good dive to check out.
Spent $43, could of gone literally anywhere else for that price and at least got good food.
Burgers were great. Fantastic even. First waitress asked my 6 year old if he wanted apple or orange juice. He said orange... she brought lemonade (?), but he didn't know there was pop, so we ended up having to get another pop when our real waiter came to take our order.
$7 for burger. Cheap buns, guacamole from a can, best part was the pickles. Chili cheese fries were over priced and cheap as well, basic canned nacho cheese and canned chili. Not even the good stuff. Daughter got the chicken strips, which were so salty she couldn't even finish them. We all got a Coke, the soda itself was fine, but $3 for a drink is just ridiculous. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
When I worked in the area it was a regular lunch spot for me. Now that I am retired it is a treat to get down there. Great food and friendly service.
