I LOVE the Kaneko! Their exhibitions are fantastic and free for visitors-such a great asset to Omaha’s downtown. The “Light” exhibition just opened and runs through the end of March, I believe, but it is so worth everyone’s time to go check it out! The entire exhibition is beautiful and the interactive portions make it a lot of fun! Definitely make time to get into the infinity room on the first floor, which the workers explained draws quite a crowd during peak hours (mainly weekends), so you might try to go during the week for best results. It was neat to see their expansion plans as well and to learn about the next phases in developing something of a campus downtown! Bring some cash to donate to their building fund!!
Very kid friendly and you can take photographs of everything (on your phone, as long as you're not using the flash).
Ithis is the art local for people who find normal galleries a bit lacking. Wonderful amazing gallery space. Every time I go there is always something fun to look at or even interact with. Highly recommended for anyone,no matter age or if you are a local.
