- The main station I used (The one on UNO campus) has so far been down/offline half of the time, resulting in me either waiting for the shuttle bus, or in cases where the shuttle is no longer running (night classes), I would then have to walk the 2 miles to my car, carrying 40 pounds worth of books and all.

-There have also already been three separate instances where the dock I was dropping the bike off at has been down, so I've had to call to let them know not to charge me extra because they think I still have the bike out.

The concept is genius, but the practice is poor. In instances when a station is down, it would be fine if there were usually other stations close by, but since they have yet to expand much, that's usually not an option. My advice to the company would be to stash a couple more stations around town and probably perform just a bit of maintenance on the equipment/stations you already own so people like me can rely on them and use them regularly.

- The bikes are very low quality, as in sometimes you have to bump or kick the bike in order for it to properly change gears (Though I'm not entirely sure what I expected from a city bike-rental service). The breaks are also garbage on every bike.

Great idea, but there are not enough stations to really make it practical right now. The idea of a city bike is you jump on and then dock it at your destination. But omaha has so few stations you can't really do that for nearly any trip. Also outside of the downtown area and around uno, you will not find stations. So as a recreation item it's fine, but for most uses it's not going to work for utility trips. It's been 6 years and while they have expanded, it's just not enough. Should take a look at NYC's citi bike program. Near full coverage on day one. That's how it's done.

After painfully riding these bikes for over a month straight I've concluded the following:

1.) I could walk the 2 miles to and from class each day

2.) I could ride the shuttle bus that only comes every 30 minutes

3.) I could rent a B-cycle bike across the street and ride it to class and back.

While going to school at UNO, I decided that purchasing a parking pass for upwards of $170 per semester wasn't really something I wanted to do, but the only free parking is all the way at Baxter arena. To remedy this, there are three possible options for me:

Easy and convenient to use. Go with at least a monthly pass...it pays for itself (compared to one day pass) after two rides.

Obviously I decided option 3 would be the best for me.

Great customer service, great concept
