What fun on Friday nights. I have to work on Thursday at day time. So I miss it all the time. My favorite is spaghetti with sausage. Delicious Italian!
Gotta be honest, for an Italian joint the pasta sucks! Super runny and plain sauce! Very bland! My son ordered a cheeseburger and sandwich bread was used as a bun! I've tasted African spaghetti better than theirs! You are doing them a favor by eating here!
Going to Sons is a tradition for our family. We bring the entire extended family here (have an uncle that's a member) to eat on Fridays many times during the year. They have a bar and simple pasta dishes (really simple, pasta and sausage or pasta and meatballs) but the food and atmosphere are excellent and authentic.
This is NOT a place you have to dress up for (like Lo Sole Mio) and it's pretty casual. I wouldn't recommend it for a date, for example, unless your or your SO have an Italian family. Sons is an excellent place to bring a family, or to meet with friends, in a jovial fashion. We all look forward to going to Sons for the food and time with each other. Haven't found anywhere quite like this before, and I'd highly recommend it.
