I almost always go with National for my business car rentals and because I love the convenience of Emerald Isle. You lose that at Eppley as you have to wait in line for a little kiosk to get keys for a vehicle. With that said they have a good selection to choose from and I was happy with my vehicle.
I’ve used National weekly for several months. The staff is always very kind and the cars are in good shape. I have had a couple of cars that weren’t as clean as I had been used too. When I returned these cars, the staff was helpful, listened and utilized service recovery and gave me upgrades.
I keep telling my co-workers that they need to switch to national rental car. My company will only pay for a compact car. Well, 3 weeks ago when I picked my car up national didn't have a compact so I got upgraded to a SUV for the same compact rate!!!! Then circumstances forced me to return the car at a different drop off location that was on the agreement and national kept the same compact rate and prorated for the days that I didn't use it.
First class service on the check in and check out. Got a great vehicle ... clean and well maintained. National Car Rental is my number one choice when renting vehicles.
We switched to National (Enterprise Holdings) as our National Account for business travel a couple years ago and as a frequent business traveler I must say it has been a great experience. The staff is always courteous and helpful, they normally have a nice selection of cars, I love the Emerald Isle to chose what I want to drive and as an Exec member the selection is even better. The "proceed to the isle" and bypass the counter is huge after a grueling travel day and check out with just your drivers license after you pick your car is quick and efficient. Great company and great people.
